“I was very impressed with the attention to detail that Sharron provided when reviewing my medical history and current issues. The treatment itself was VERY relaxing and soothing, and best of all, the issues that I saw Sharron for that day resolved immediately and have not returned which is absolutely incredible. I highly recommend Sharron for her level of professionalism and skill and am very thankful that I have access to this type of treatment!”
-Brooke H.
Dr. Sharron helps me to relax and de-stress more than anyone I have tried before.”
-Dr. E.F
“When I came to see Sharron, I was in a great deal of pain and discomfort from past injuries and new ones sustained on the job as a carpenter. Dr. Sharron was super attentive to detail in my treatment. It was my first experience with acupuncture. I am forever a fan now of this style of treatment given the state of mobility I have now, post-treatment. I look forward to going back as often as I am able for a “tune up”.
-Jason P.
“I just wanted to let you know that I’m pregnant. Thank you for the lovely acupuncture treatments.”
– Angel S
No words can honestly express my gratitude for Dr. Sharron. I began seeing her to assist with my fertility issues after disappointing results from other doctors. From day one, her knowledge, attention to detail, and review of my medical history was impressive! She was very thorough and was able to address my fertility issues and delved deeper in helping relieve my anxiety, improve sleep, and muscle pain. She provided a calm environment that gave me time to relax while receiving treatments. Throughout my time with her, she exceeded my expectations with her compassion and patience. She genuinely shows how much she cares about her patients and their success by going above and beyond in helping them. I truly believe without her treatments to supplement my IVF procedures I would not have our baby girl today. I was very lucky to find her!

THE SCIENCE OF ACUPUNCTURE

An Overview of Scientific Evidence | The Safety of Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medical technique devised before 2500 BCE, and proven through modern scientific research and clinical trials to be an effective alternative approach to restoring health, balance, and relieving discomfort associated with a variety of diseases and conditions. If you’re unsure as to whether or not acupuncture can help with something you’re suffering with, please reach out to me for a consultation.
Most recently, acupuncture has received some increased attention by the media as anecdotal evidence supports it to be an effective treatment for “Covid long-haulers” – individuals experiencing some lingering effects of a coronavirus infection – which include symptoms such as loss of sense of smell and taste, fatigue, and respiratory issues, just to name a few. Please reach out to me to schedule a consultation if you would like to explore acupuncture as a part of your Covid recovery..

For Veterans

We accept the Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (VA CCN).

PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothes; socks and shoes come off during treatments.
  • It is always a good idea to eat and have something to drink before getting a treatment. Have a small meal or snack and ensure that you are sufficiently hydrated.
  • From the time the doctor begins needling the patient (which takes about 10 minutes) the patient should expect to be on the table an additional 30 minutes, so it’s always best to use the restroom before the treatment begins.
  • The patient may listen to music or podcast during their treatment, or just use the time to take a nap — acupuncture is a relaxing experience!
